Pregnancy Acupuncture
Offering pregnancy acupuncture for Mamas and their little ones. This is such a sacred period of time for a woman and I am honored that are considering working with me.
What to expect in a treatment when I'm pregnant?
It is a great honor to work with mothers and their babies. Pregnancy is such a sacred time in a mother's life and in my treatments, I aim to provide a bit of an oasis for mom and baby to communicate, for mom to de-stress, relax and take a moment for herself.
When should you come in?
Every pregnancy is different and your needs are different. I am able to treat mothers from conception to birth and so there is no right or wrong time. I encourage mothers to see me between trimesters to prep the body for the transitions but love when mom's listen to their intuition and come when they feel the time is right.
Can acupuncture help promote labor?
Yes. There are a number of points on the body that can help promote labor. While each person is different, using Acupuncture, Reiki, Cupping and other soothing modalities, I am able to help prepare mom for labor. Treatments for this customarily start at 36-37 weeks.
Can I use acupuncture to flip the baby if he/she is breeched?
Yes there are a number of modalities that can turn the baby in Chinese Medicine including Moxibustion and Acupuncture.
I'm looking to do a homebirth but not sure if it is the right fit for me?
I encourage you to contact Kindred Space LA for detailed information on home births and if it is the right fit for you. Kindred Space LA also offers a number of pre-post natal classes, lactation lounges, recommendations of doulas and other invaluable resources to our community. I also host my community clinics at their space.
